Darwin King

Managing Director ⇾

Property development runs in Darwin's family as his father and sister are both involved in the industry and started their careers at a young age. Darwin's father started one of the first Century 21 franchises in the United States in the 1970s and his sister delivered two outstanding real estate projects on the Gold Coast in her early 20s. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Law degree at Bond University on the Gold Coast, and being admitted as a lawyer in 1999, Darwin went to Emerald in Central Queensland to establish an agricultural enterprise on behalf of his family, known as Evergreen Farms. Seventeen years later, It is now one of the largest, privately held agribusinesses in Australia. While Darwin is extremely proud of Evergreen Farms, his true passion lies in property development, specifically turning his father's dream of making the Flinders township a reality. For the past seven years, Darwin has been leading a multi-disciplinary team of experts and working with Federal, State and Local Government officials in planning and delivering Flinders. Given the long-term nature of the project, Darwin's attitude is that if he cannot finish the project in his lifetime, his children will finish it for him and if not them, then his children's children.
